Visit to Karonmajigi Disabled Peoples Community

In October 2022, The Karonmajigi Disabled Peoples Community, Abuja, welcomed The
Agofure Brothers Foundation to their community in her first outreach. The experience was
so touching as The Executive Director, Amb. Engr. Kingsley Agofure Esohwode, who was
present in person, had a first-hand experience of the plight faced by the community. The
highlight of the outreach was the promise to award scholarships to intelligent children from
the community. Then, in the usual style of The Agofure Brothers Foundation, community
members were fed and entertained.

The Agofure Brothers Foundation’s existence initially sought to promote values that drive
unity and love within families and further propagate such matters to the larger society.
Their mission is to touch the lives of the vulnerable in our community through compulsory
child education and the eradication of child labor. Their vision is to achieve a world where
the power of love transforms humanity.
The vulnerable were enthusiastic about receiving this tangible gift from The Agofure
Brothers Foundation and prayed that such a tremendous humanitarian act would continue.
The Secretary of The Community, Mr. Mohammed, who welcomed members of the
foundation, reiterated that the children engage in petty trading because their parents could
not afford to send them to school.
The Agofure Brothers Foundation, while speaking with reporters, described this
humanitarian act as an act of being Godly. According to them, it is simply giving back to the
society. Humanity, according to them, is the best religion. If influential people or groups of
people can inculcate this act, the poverty rate will reduce drastically.
In the future, The Agofure Brothers Foundation has marked several charitable activities,
ranging from creating scholarships for students from disabled communities to eradicating
child labor.
