About Us

The Agofure Brothers (TAB) is a public Non-Governmental Organization under section 55 of the Non-Governmental Organizations Act. The Agofure Brothers seek to promote values that drive family unity and love and further propagate such matters to society. The Agofure Brothers came into existence due to the personal initiative of its founder, Mr. Esohwode Kingsley Agofure Seha, to enhance the socio-economic status of underprivileged children.

The Agofure Brothers believe so much in the power of love and its ripple effect. With love, we can actualize our more significant focus of providing children with primary education, organizing feeding programs, and providing clothing, medicine, and shelter.

Our primary focus is releasing children living in extreme poverty from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty. The Agofure Brothers have set out to do their best to make a positive difference in the lives of the underprivileged.

Working with a team of committed people, TAB has aimed to secure integrated development through people’s participation. The key areas identified for interventions include child rights, education, and sustainable livelihood. Our efforts have developed lasting associations with government, non-government, and corporate organizations and the communities and groups we have worked with.

We have come a long way following a small beginning in February 2019 and have implemented some child education and care projects. While implementing different developmental projects, we have always focused on working through people’s participation. At TAB, we have always believed in the capacities and capabilities of the communities and have always strived to channel their hidden energies for the betterment of society at large. At TAB, our efforts are directed at creating an environment conducive to enhancing opportunities for local people to think and act positively. We have always endeavored to develop the skills and competencies of the local communities to enable them to operate and maintain the assets created by implementing the projects sustainably.

Our philosophy has led us to adopt a holistic and participatory approach to rural development. We believe in an inclusive approach, covering all the society, particularly the underprivileged, in a village. We work with the existing village-level fora (and create new ones wherever necessary) through Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approaches, principles, and techniques.
